Hipperia is a novel wine that expresses aromas and flavours of fully mature red berry fruits. It is the fruit of evolution and experience acquired over the last 15 years. To a base of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot we add the elegance of Cabernet Franc and the power of the Petit Verdot. Hipperia 2005 was the first wine brand developed in our new winery, which has excellent facilities for the elaboration of high quality wines. The result is a wine born from a balanced blend of these four varieties, each of their essences working to create a unique harmony. The scents and fresh, balsamic aromas of Pago?s wine highlight its power, maturity and mineral richness.
From elegant cherry colour, good aromatic intensity where notes of mineral and balsamic, thyme and rosemary, excels along with red fruits, and a background of fine notes of wood. Silky entry in palate, round, structured, again fruity and balsamic notes and ending with a subtle toasted that induces to drink. It is a very long and persistent wine.
